Today's Earrings: Wire Roses

Today's earrings were an experiment. 

Last night, I spent some time looking at jewelry-making tutorials online. I do that from time to time, especially to get ideas on new things to try. In my searching, I found a neat tutorial on how to make wire-wrapped roses... and, well, I wanted to give it a go.

Here is what I came up with:

...Not too bad for my first attempts!

Obviously, practice will only make me better. Still, the whole point behind this challenge is to stretch my earring-making prowess, and it is always fun to try new things.
